[GeoStL] Re: 2008 SLAGA Fall Picnic

I'll try doing that later when I fire up the laptop again. Thanks.

  - Laptops usually have a NumLock function where you can put a certain set of
normally alpha keys in the middle of the keyboard into a numeric keypad
configuration like on a normal keyboard. You might try entering the magic
keystrokes after putting it in that mode. It MIGHT work. I have not tried it on
mine yet, but that would be what I would try.

Here's one website I've used in the past for symbols including the degree
symbol. It has a different number to use for the accent over the e. I've never
tried it on the laptop but just tried and can't get it to work even using the
fn button. Must be doing something wrong.

If you're going to spell Molé, please do it right. Otherwise, tnsl might be
aright about the purrrrrree of kitty being next.

You can get the é (as in resumé or molé or fiancé by holding alt and typing
the number 130 (note, you have to use the keypad, not the row of numbers above
the letters. If you have a laptop, you may have to hold fn to access the
keypad. Not sure if this trick works on Macs; it doesn't work on Linux.)
