*Abstract*
Our first question when seeking to determine how to create a sustainable
human ecology must be "Why?". Sustainability Psychology is a new field of
education and research, that employs psychology broadly towards explaining
why we act as we do towards each other and planet Earth, and we can use
this understanding to design a sustainable future.
