Hello,
The Marfan Foundation is holding its Annual Conference in Atlanta Ga on August
3-6. The community we serve suffer from Marfan Syndrome which is a
connective tissue disorder which in addition to problems with the aorta can
also cause the patient to suffer from a lot of pain. At the conference this
year I was hoping to have a workshop on using art to express your feelings
about having Marfan, about the pain, the fears, and other emotions. The
workshop would be on Sunday, August 6th in the morning. We are a non-profit
organization but can pay a small stipend if needed. I was hoping to find an
art therapist who would be interested to come and lead this workshop. I do
need to know as soon as possible to plan out program. I am hoping that you
have someone who may be interested.
