Summer News from the Principal

Dear GA Parents:

Greetings!  I hope that your first two weeks of summer 
vacation have gone well.  It was great seeing many of you 
at the GA Festival. Thanks to all of you who worked so 
hard to made the GA Festival a great success!

I have been working very hard on the Child Protection 
Program and checking the lists of parents who have and who 
have not been fingerprinted.  The Child Protection Program 
states that all adults who work with children must attend 
a training session of the Child Protection Program and 
must get fingerprinted.  The final date to get the 
fingerprint-ing paid for by the parish is June 30th.  The 
places where this can take place are:
June 17 -- Our Lady of the Rosary, Greenhills, from 6-9pm
June 18 -- St. Charles, Kettering, from 9 am to 1pm  
June 19 -- St. Columban, Loveland, from 9am to 3pm
June 21 and 28 -- Central Offices (100 E. Eighth St.)

There are many of our school parents who have not been 
fingerprinted, and it order to volunteer with children the 
Archdiocese of Cincinnati requires you to do so.  Please 
see what you can do to get this accomplished asap.

If you have been fingerprinted away from Guardian Angels 
Parish, please let me know asap.  I know some parents who 
have done so, and their names are not on any of my lists.

If you get fingerprinted after June 30th, you will have to 
go to a centralized place to do so and you will have to 
pay the fee.  I'll let you know those places soon.

Parents, please get fingerprinted asap.  We really need 
you as volunteers in our school, in our sports program, in 
our scouting programs, etc.  We couldn't accomplish what 
we do without you!
