I apologize for overreacting. It just toasts my figgin when I see
someone post "the google response" - ie, telling someone to google for
the answer. I try to take it for granted that anyone who is asking a
question on a mailing list like this one has already searched google
(or some equivalent) but didn't find what they were looking for.

Thanks to the two people who recommended "The Mythical Man Month",
I'll be reading it this weekend.
