As someone who was in both sides of the equation, I think the jobs in US
will only rise again if the cust to the company hiring (and I'm not just
including the finacial but the managemment, security, legal, etc, custs
as well) dropped to something better.
I think we are seeing the other side of the globalization process. In
one side, the mass production of cheap products are hurting the economy
of countries with less money to invest on automation for instance, on
the other hand, intelectual workers like we can be found everywhere in
the world and, if where I live have a lower cost of living I'll be
satisfied with a lower salary than you do.
Just to give you a clue, a US$ 1000,00 a month is a very good pay here
and Brazil is not the cheapest country you can find good people.
