I am a graphic designer learning to use Maya5 on my Mac. I would really
like to create my own game one day but at the moment need to know the
workings of how to do this. I have heard that you can use game engines
so that they can run your game instead of having to design the
mechanics yourself. Once I have mastered Maya, and create a 3D world,
how then do I use a game engine to run it so that I could play a
level? Where do I get an engine from? I know it is not as simple as all
that but if you can put me on the right path for starters, I can do the
rest.
Thanks!!
