Even here in Cuba, where "voluntary work" (also know as volutory work,
because it is almost obligatory) such thing would not be admitted.
Specially because overtime is not paid unless you work "directly to
production", that means that your work is producing true USD. Just the
bosses work more than 8 hours every day, but hell, they have cars, so I
dont care about them.
My opinion is that you and your colleagues should try to revert that
situation.
