Did you use ATL or MFC?
I'd be interested in seeing the source. I've never written a plugin before
so not sure how to call the usual init, update, render, cleanup functions I
have in my engine.
Very nice the way it works in FF too btw.
Sorry to tell you but you're not the *first* one to create a 3D engine in
the browser - apart from shockwave there is another program called Anark
(www.anark.com) I've used their demo but it looks like it is fairly
immature.. it'll probably be good in a few years if all goes well for them.
Their interface in the design studio is a lot like flash's, they have
'layers', javascripts, drag-drop stuff, all pretty user friendly on the
surface but once you start using it you quickly realise it needs some
polishing. Also I'm not sure where VRML is now - called X3D I think.
Cheers
Triston.
