for instance [continued spam hehe]...i was trying to get some flags waving
for something i was working on recently and remembered they had a tutorial
on that at nehe.
so i went there, got their technique working and realized "hey this flag
doesnt stick to a flag pole". a simple modification to the code, adding a
division in a couple places made it so you can stick one side of the flag to
the flag pole to make it look more realistic.
thats a very simple code modification that im sure many people might not see
readily, but at the nehe tuts there's no way to really post that information
anywhere useful.
with a wiki im assuming at the bottom or something, i could have put a link
like "how to modify this code to make the flag stick to a flag pole!", that
people could look at if they were interested.
that would be very very cool (:
