oh and don't use internet explorer as well...despite everything it's
still the easiest one for homepage hijacking and such.

Mozilla or Opera or Firefox are good laternatives...

I use opera and a few sites don't work quite so great (gmail and my
online banking) thats the only thing i use IE for ..since those are
trusted sites that I know wont' do anything bad)

I'm told Mozilla works great...specially newer one..and you can get
mods/add-ons for cool effects.. like the mouse gestures in opera! (i'm
hooked on those)
