not sure if you blitz guys have seen it but there's some blitz forums
on their site (i found by googling), here's a socket tutorial thread

Sure the "newblet" posts can get anoying but ehhh...i'm sure a certain
someone will get the picture soon if he already hasn't, nothing to
unsubscribe from the list about IMO.  There's just a couple guys on
the list that are new to game programming and while being really
excited about doing it and wanting to know it all now, don't have much
knowledge or know how to get that knowlegde

I think it's a good thing because it shows that our community is
growing, instead of just having the same old people on the list who
already have the basics down :P
