Define young. Many programmers start in their early teens. No-one is
going to spoon feed you. If what you are doing is too far above you,
make a simpler game without save games (like pong). Alternatively,
make a program (not a game) where the user types stuff and you write
it to a file. Then make another program that reads the file back to
the user. Keep going until you build your skill set up sufficiently to
tackle saving and loading a game.

If we spoon feed you, you learn nothing, and essentially it is we who
write your game. You don't want that, do you? =)
