[gameprogrammer] Help regarding course selection

Hi all.
I am interested in game programming and require help in selecting courses. I
would like to know if courses like Animate vision principle, database
systems, operating system are relevant to game programming. If I have a
choice between Operating system and database system which one should i go
for.
