The class Bob taught for me was great. After 2+ years of pro game programming, I still rely on things I learned in it. If I was making hiring decisions, I would look very highly on anyone who had passed an ACC programming class. If I was still in the Austin area, I would be enrolling in (and taking if they weren't canceled :[ ) more classes.


Why people aren't signing up is a mystery to me. Maybe, since most (?) programmers have 4 year degrees, some view community colleges as insufficiently rigorous? I had a graduate degree, and that misapprehension might have crossed my mind, but it was soon disproved once I took the class.
