That is good to hear. They have moved the certifications into the regular school and out of the continuing education department. I already have a degree but I was looking at the courses for industry specific training. 

Per http://www.austincc.edu/techcert/gaming/:

        ACC will keep some of the courses in the credit programs
        integrated through CE, but in the future, the only "completers"
        will come from the credit programs.
It looks like there will continue to be some avenue to take those classes without signing up for an AA degree program, but details seem pretty sparse at the moment.
