That is good to hear. They have moved the certifications into the regular school and out of the continuing education department. I already have a degree but I was looking at the courses for industry specific training.

I got my start by taking some of the classes at ACC; Bob taught the
first class I took there, and I took a few more after that. At the time
I was taking classes, they were offered as part of ACC's continuing
education program intended for people who were already professional
programmers.

I can't really vouch for myself as someone to work with, or say much
about my current project, but after taking some of the ACC classes and
putting a lot of effort into networking with game developers, I've been
able to hold a job as a game programmer the last three years.
