We are narrowing in on the point here. The idea of doing a game in a
month is to learn *not* to bite of more than you can chew. 

This whole thing started from reading about the early days of Id. They
all worked for a company that shipped a disk of DOS software once a
month. Every month there was a game on the disk. Carmak and crew had to
learn to design, develop, and deliver a game every month. You have to
learn to use the resources you have, not the resources you wish you had.

Now, if I could only do that...
