[gameprogrammer] Game learning project of the month

Reading the discussion titled "Re: gameprogrammer Digest V4 #5" makes me
through of an idea of monthly game contest development. As you guys spoted
out, the most important aspect in order to find a job is to make complete
games. I think that is true. However I find out, by my own experience, that
getting a game finished is hard for several reason. The main one to me is :
it's really hard to evaluate the complexity of a project for a new game
programmer. Something that looks small and simple can end up being a complex
and difficult project.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but I would find really interesting to
get "one month" or "two months" game project subject from guru of game
development reading this list. In order to make this fun it might be
organised in a kind of contest with one new project every (one or two)
months.
