i think this sound good. you should make it so you can zoom in or out if it
wont take up to much room. but other then that it looks real good.

This would be in real time but relatively slow paced and strategic. Pick
your power and shot angle to shoot. Planets' gravity affects your shots.
You can move around. Everything you do takes energy. Supports any number
of players per maps. The actual screens would be scrollable so the game
area is bigger than the screen area.
The pacing would be about one shot every 30 seconds and one move about every
minute. So you have to think ahead, guess if your opponent will move or
not, try to anticipate what shot pattern they will use.
Weapons could also include phasers, which are short range and not affected
by gravity.
My idea is the game needs to be networkable and support many players but be
easy to program, esp. graphically. I would probably use SDL to do the
graphics.
