Thanks for your report, Roger!  Now it seems that GL 2.0 is not usable
under ATI's drivers the way it should be.  This is an important
information because now I know my libGL.so is the same as anyone else's
and I can concentrate on finding a work-around (since I can't believe
ATI would release drivers without any support for shaders whatsoever).
