Hi all,
I'm graduating with Computer Science BSc this year (assuming all
goes well with exams and this damned report) and I really want to get
into the games industry. I just deleted a bunch of stuff because I was
rambling, but basically does anybody know if I should build up my game
programming experience in C++ (being the established language of choice
for most games, mobile java excluded) or if you think that companies
will be moving to C# or something similar, and I would be better working
with that instead? I'm already moderately competent at making games in
Java and C++ (with SDL). My DirectX skills definitely need work, and I
know these are obviously important for PC games.
So yes, is C++ going away anytime soon or can I stick with it? Would
appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Nick Howes
