Hello,
depending how advanced your ai should be, you should use the appropriate
language.
e.g. don't use any sripting languages if you want an really advanced ai,
because the player has to wait for the ai's move and compiled languages have an
speed advantage.
(don't want to start any flamewar, it's just my oppinion)
Of course this also depends on what languages you can (good written java is
better than bad written c++).
