You will solve your problem by inserting in FTDocument.drawNormalViewMode:

  ' Draw the page.
  if Ubound(pages) > -1 Then
    pages(0).drawNormalViewMode(g, self, xDisplayPosition, yDisplayPosition,
insertionPoint)
  end if

It should solve your first problem.
