FTC getting started help

Are there any tutorials, videos, or additional documents that would help me get 
up to speed with the FTC. I bought this last week and so far have not gotten 
anywhere with it. 
I have basic RTF working by using the TextAreaRTF and setting text with 
myFld.setRTF(myStr). But I want to be able to add pics, set paragraphs, show 
page breaks, etc. like in the demo. So I am trying to use the FTEditField
I am looking at the code in the demo and, though I have been using RB for 12 
years, I am confused. The demo creates new docs and somehow populates the FTC 
with them. I don't understand where those docs came from.
I also added a menubar and added the menu item EditRedo as suggested in the 
docs. I have attached that menubar to the screen containing my FTC control, but 
I still get a compile error that item EditRedo does not exist.
Lost there as well.

I think the FTC will be a big help to my main project. But I obviously need 
some help getting started.
