I would also vote for such a feature! Especially the functionality to select a 
line with the keyboard.


COMMAND+SHIFT+RIGHTARROW doesn't extend the selection from SelStart to the end 
of the line. 


COMMAND+SHIFT+LEFTARROW doesn't extend the selection from SelStart to the start 
of the line.
