Blinking Cursor gets out of sync with on screen info

Run preview 30
select all
delete
Populate menu "Small Plain"
On First line Double click the word "testing"
Press the right arrow on the keyboard once
Press return
Press the right arrow on the keyboard once
Notice that the caret is in the wrong place.
Type "oops"
Notice that the caret is slightly in the wrong place.

Reproducible at 150% scale.
