This is still not working correctly. The text back color is still coming through as black UNLESS you've set it to a color.
According to the sample code you originally sent into me, it is now working. If I call selectionBackgroundColor I now get white as as the color for both the PPC and Intel build for OS X. How specifically do you get the selection 
background color?
