Thank you for your mail. We already started a conversation to have a
workshop on GIT in our campus. It will be given by a company who
offered a placement program in our campus. It is for our MCA students.
I have CCed all the stake holders in this mail, including the group.
Ours is a public mailing list, anyone can join the group irrespective
of their relation with the university.

I am interested in conducting a one-day Free Software workshop for
Free Software User Group, Pondicherry University.

I am willing to be flexible in the topics that students are interested
to learn. The price of the workshop is the price of the book, which
each participant gets to keep at the end of the day.
