If you live within a reasonable distance and are able to attend, this
could be a very interesting presentation.

Dear Friend
Please pass on attached flyer to your friends supportive of Suffolk Co.
immigrants and place flyers in appropriate places, such as yr
congregation's bulletin or newsletter or school bulletin board. This 1/2
day of no- cost workshops will help you speak more effectively about
these issues when speaking to the press, in front of groups, or simply
responding to misstatements of fact, erroneous suppositions, or
emotional outbursts encouraged by demagogic political leaders and some
media, conveying anger, resentment and too often bias against LI
immigrants, documented and undocumented.

Learn smarter ways, manners and methods of speaking about immigration
issues and enjoy meeting kindred Suffolk neighbors who also seek to
influence with rational discourse in this climate of hostility,
hysteria, and aggressive scapegoating of immigrants of color. Meet and
network with allies, neighbors who continue fighting for immigrant
rights in face of often dispiriting and seemingly intractable
opposition. Invite trustworthy friends on your lists. --mo
