Hi EVeryone, I thought I'd add the free list folks to this chat just so they
could see what's happening behind the scenes with your attempt to get us on
line. There is much to report and say and I'm very happy that all of you,
especially the computer savvy among you, are getting together and targeting
getting this done. Great work, and muchicimas gracias. PW

    Hi Jen,

I know it is hectic now but if you could get the FSF60K site online it
would be great, as that could be the hub of our web presence. Each type of
site has a different purpose but we still need a main site to hold everything
together. I don't think the blog is enough.
i think a website would give us a more polished image and allow us more
opportunities with varied content than a blog. All your ideas sound great. I
hope to update the blog on a regular basis and solicit input from other club
members. Once we get into the mindset of updating the blog when a new event
happens it will not be a big deal. It's just tough to get the momentum going.
So, if you have the time please finish the website and don't hesitate to show
us a preliminary design so we can give you feedback.

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Peace,
    George

      Hi All,

I know everyone has a lot going on and saw all the work George did for
the Friends blog. It looks great! I actually was working on a site at the same
time and was hoping we could catch up to talk about how to move forward. The
site I was working on was intended be a portal to George's blog, the friends my
space page, Pete's articles about Students, etc. I also planned to add areas
to download press releases, feature a photo/video gallery, and post other
documents, like our brochure and volunteer profile form. I spoke with Adam K. a
couple weeks ago and he said he could probably get us free hosting for the
site. I'm pretty crazed these days trying to wrap up projects before the baby
is born, but I think I could finish off what I was working on and plug in
George's site if that makes sense. If you think I should just drop what I did
so far and go with George's site, it's fine. It just seems like we all need to
connect to figure out what's best for everyone. If you could send me your
thoughts on what we should do that would probably be a smart next step. I look
forward to hearing from you.

      Best wishes,
      Jen Brady Cotter
