You need to get yourself a domain! You can sign up with someone like Freeserve who will give you some webspace for nothing (other than the cost of a local call and deluge you with adverts!) As a temporary measure, if you mail me the track (mp3 preferably but I'm broadband at work so I can take a .wav if you can!), I'll happily post it on my site at www.superlifter.co.uk, and you can post a link (something like www.superlifter.co.uk/jimmij/fruity.mp3) to it in the CM Listening Lounge. Alternatively, post this question on the CMForum, I think Magic does hosting, as does Flip/FatMan/Lawrence... Regards, Stu (xstux) ps apologies to moderator for not being a strictly fruity thing! -----Original Message----- From: fruityloops-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fruityloops-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Tim Jenkins Sent: 21 February 2003 09:38 To: 'fruityloops@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [fruityloops] Where and how to post tunes After doing this music stuff for a year and a half I have my first track at a position where I would like feedback. It is on cd at the moment and I only have internet access at work. How can I get this track on line so that it is available for feedback. I use the computer music forum (under JimmiJ) so if I can post it there that would be cool. But I don't know how to ?? also maybe of the official FL site ?? Do I need to be able to host it form a PC online ? I just need some basic advice as I haven't got to this position before? Cheers Tim
