From your vol log post it looks like we are dealing with the same laptop. The model I have is:
Toshiba Satellite 2060CDS Model PAS206C-A
DC 15V ~ 2.0A

The power supply is:
  Toshiba AC adaptor Model PA2450U
  Output: 15V ~ 3A

The battery in this one doesn't hold a charge. The screen is ok but not great.

btw, I think I have a buyer for one of these Toshiba laptops.

Got a workaround for the power connector problem. Don't know if I've got too small a connector or a bad socket on the laptop...

Installing VL 3.2 as I type... Need to know how to access to update the system clock. It's WAY off!
