[frgeek-michiana] The band in the basement

I talked to Eric Payton, the church music director today about the schedule conflict we had last Tue.

The large group which took up the basement fellowship hall meets at the church once per month. Tom Henton, the district music director, drives from Grand Rapids to South Bend each month to help Eric teach brass band music. Brass bands are a tradition in the Sal. Army. The kids love to play instruments but hate to study music theory. Tom has a portable network (server and laptops) on which he teaches music theory to kids using computer games so it is a big deal with Tom visits.

The next scheduled visit is Tu., May 11. Eric will see if there is another room in the church which can be made functional for the music training. At this point there shouldn't be any disruptions until May 11.
