The objective of the new project is to solicit involvement from the Linux
community in packaging and testing decisions that were, in the past, closely
controlled by the RH engineering team. There are also (yet unconfirmed)

(codenamed "Severn" or "Cambridge", depending on who you talk to;
announcement here, release notes here), the company will no longer distribute
RHL through retail channels.
