(4) New program: TreePad PLUS 5.0 beta.
Wanted, beta testers!!! Version 5.0 beta introduces password protection
combined with state-of-the-art encryption! TreePad PLUS new encryption
feature is just as powerful as that used by banks and governments. In
TreePad PLUS 5.0 beta, using menu/file/set password you can assign a
password to the currently opened TreePad file, and also change or erase
the password. In face of the high security level of the encryption
feature TreePad PLUS 5.0 beta will be intensively tested before its
official release. When using it, keep a safe non-encrypted copy of the
files you password protect during the beta testing period. Registered
3.x and 4.x users will be able to upgrade to any official 5.x versions
for free.
Also: TreePad backup files can be optionally password protected and
encrypted.
The statusbar displays the password protection status.
