Custom Addressbook 3.0.2, new features since version 2.0:

Added: improved search: the search results are shown in a separate search 
tab. Search results can now contain multiple items.
Added: indirect support for printing address labels through free 
third-party software
Added: function to duplicate one or more items. Using this function you can 
use an existing item as a template for new items.
Added: export to CSV and XML files. Please see Menu/file/export.

Changed: a new registration number. The old version 2.x registration number

TreePad Business Edition

New program!

All the features of TreePad PLUS and more! The difference between TreePad 
Business Edition and TreePad PLUS is that TreePad BIZ supports password 
protection, advanced encryption, spell check in 20 languages, thesaurus, 
full-screen presentation mode, auto-dial. More to come!

New: spell check (only TreePad Biz)
Added: menu/tools/spell check, or F7
Added: menu/tools/thesaurus, or shift F7.
Added: menu/tools configure spell check
Added: menu/tools/download additional dictionaries, which opens an Internet 
page with additional spell-check dictionaries in 20 languages.

New: presentation mode  (only TreePad Biz)
Added: menu/view/Full Screen, or ctrl F5, available in Advanced Mode. 
Presentation mode converts TreePad BIZ to a presentation program. Pressing 
ctrl F5 in presentation mode will return to normal mode.

New: auto-dial  (only TreePad Biz)
Added: a new type of hyperlink, 'phone'. Double clicking on a phone 
hyperlink will start the auto-dialer. Creating an auto-dial hyperlink is 
similar to creating other types of hyperlinks. Use menu/insert/hyperlink, 
then chose link-type 'phone'.

New: password encryption  (only TreePad Biz and TreePad SAFE)
Added: password protection and advanced encryption, compatible with TreePad 
SAFE and TreePad Viewer. Menu/file/set password

Images
Added: menu/insert/image(s) from file now can insert multiple images into 
the article in one go (just hold the ctrl or shift key when selecting files).

Table
Added: pressing 'tab' in the last cell of a table will insert a new table 
row, and move the focus to the first cell of the new row.

Templates
Added: support for node templates. Using the node properties dialog 
(menu/tree/node properties, or tree popup menu tree/node properties), one 
can enable the new check box 'Is template'. When a node is designated to be 
a template, all newly created descendant nodes will contain the template 
article text and template images by default. This is very useful when 
setting up e.g. a database containing addresses and phone numbers. If you 
add lines containing 'name:', 'address:' to the template node, these fields 
will automatically copied to any newly created child node.

Import/export
Added: sub tree export to a Rich Text file (menu/file/export/sub tree)
Added: sub tree export to a single HTML file now includes images
Added: sub tree export to a single Rich Text file now includes images
Added: sub tree export to a single file now can start the associated 
program directly after finishing export to view the results
Added: a warning before importing an .hjt file into the sub tree, that the 
import does not preserve the node hyperlinks
Added: an option to the node properties screen, to include/exclude that 
node/sub tree from export.
Added: an option to include/exclude articles/nodes when exporting a sub 
tree to a single file
Added: after export to Web site the default Web browser will be started 
automatically to display the generated Web site (optional)
Added: nodes when exported to HTML pages, now include an HTML title tag 
corresponding to the original node title
Added: when exporting to Web site, the tree icons are now also exported
Improved: images are exported to the subdirectory 'images'

Print
Added: print sub tree using the default Rich Text program (Word/WordPad). 
Menu/file/print/sub tree
Added: print sub tree dialog (menu/file/print/sub tree)
Changed: the toolbar printer icon now prints the tree when the tree has 
focus, otherwise it prints the article as usual.
Added: print sub tree using the default browser now includes images
Added: print sub tree using default Rich text program now includes images
Added: option to the node properties screen (menu/tree/node properties), to 
include/exclude that node/sub tree from printing
Added: an option to include/exclude sub trees/articles/nodes when printing 
a sub tree
Added: shortcut ctrl+alt+p opens the previous (last-opened) file.

Hyperlinks
Bug fix: several problems related to relative hyperlinks to TreePad files 
have been solved
Changed: the default caption of hyperlinks to files now is the file name 
(instead of the file path)

Added: menu/help/TreePad support: which leads to the TreePad support page

Added: menu/help/treepad home page, which opens the TreePad homepage in 
your default Web browser (when connected to the Internet)

Zoom
Added: menu/view/zoom/increase

Added: new zoom-in and zoom-out buttons to the view toolbar
Added: zoom keyboard shortcuts: alt [ for zooming out, alt ] for zooming 
in, and alt . for setting the zoom level to 100%

Tree
Added: menu/tree/convert/all sub tree articles to plain text. this powerful 
function removes all formatting and images from any article contained in 
the selected sub tree. It is also accessible through the tree popup menu.
Improved: menu/tree/insert date/time/date-time into a tree node title does 
not replace the tree node title anymore, but is prefixed to the old node text.
Improved: automatic tree node numbering will not replace the node texts 
anymore (menu/tree/number sub tree) and is inserted at the start of the 
node texts.
Added: node numbering will automatically replace any existing node numbering
Added: when the selected tree node already contains a number, that number 
is used as a starting point for the subsequent node numbering. If it does 
not contain a number, '1' is used as a starting point.
Added: a function to remove node numbering (menu/tree/remove sub tree 
numbering)Added: keyboard shortcuts alt-down and alt-up to navigate tree 
siblings (skipping child nodes)

Tree icons
Added: one can now order the icons in the Icons using drag-drop (with the 
mouse)
Added: menu/icons/download additional icons, which, when connected to the 
Internet, opens the treepad.com icons page.

Bookmarks
Added: bookmarks tab (next to the article and icon tabs). When clicking on 
the bookmarks tab, the Bookmarks pane is shown.
Added: bookmarks menu, which is only visible when the bookmarks pane is 
visible. The bookmarks menu enables you to add, delete and sort bookmarks.
Added: bookmarks shortcuts. The first nine bookmarks have been assigned the 
keyboard shortcuts ctrl 1 to ctrl 9.
Added: shortcut ctrl 0 to go to the root node
Added: a bookmark will display the associated tree node icon

Toolbar
Improved: new history toolbar buttons
Improved: new sub tree implode/explode toolbar buttons
Improved: new tree-edit toolbar buttons, All these icons are created by 
Barry Andrews
Improved: just clicking on the 'mode' toolbar button will toggle between 
advanced and basic mode

Status bar
The extension of .htmhjt files are displayed
Added: auto-indent indicator in status bar (AuIn)

Search
Added: copy/paste/clear buttons in article-replace window

Command-line parameters
Added: new command-line parameter to startup TreePad with a predefined file 
and node selected:Syntax: TreePadPLUS.exe <filename> <node id>Example: 
TreePadPLUS.exe "c:\my data\notes.hjt" 46
Note: you can find the ID of a node using "menu/tree/sub tree statistics" 
or  the node properties screen.
Added: TreePad will now display an error message when loading a file using 
command-line parameters which is in use.

Files
Improved: the .tpz file containing the images is now only created when 
necessary.
Bug fix: problems related to saving data to hidden TreePad files have been 
fixed.



TreePad Size:

Freeware utility to calculate the real size of TreePad sub trees. 
Compatible with all TreePad versions, except TreePad X and TreePad Power.
