Re: [ZossPens] Wha' Happened to Sumgai Sundais?

Thanks -- that's good to know for the future as well as referrals to other people. I often get asked about web hosting, but since I don't do web design (other than for my own site), my knowledge is limited in that area.

I use 1and1.com for my business web site, and their service is excellent. However, I do not have a shopping cart system (no need for it), so I don't know whether or not they would work better for that.

I'm currently using GoDaddy.com and its Quick Shopping Cart software. I've discovered the cart is really quite limited in its feature-set, and, given my sales volume and inventory, it simply does not meet my needs. It's also experienced a number of glitches involving the recent upgrade from ver. 1.x to 2.x, some serious, some merely irratiting, but all extremely frustrating. James Partridge

I have recieved a couple of "back-channel" questions from folks

The answer is a most emphatic "Yes!" However, I'm taking a
temporary break until I can resolve the website glitches that
developed when my web company decided to "improve" the code in
    its shopping cart software.

I'm now in the process of moving all of my cart functions to a
new host and a new cart platform. Not being a computer techie,
and wrestling with the demands of being a full-time attorney and
father in addition to running the pen company, the transition is
a slow one. With luck, I should be up and runnning again on a
new system by the end of the month. The Sumgai Sundais will
resume when I get everything worked out then. I'll keep you
posted, and thanks for noticing their absence.
