In 2008 I Predicts that the Value of Vintage Conway Stewart Pen are still very undervalued
I have been watch the market every day and I see the interest in these fine Writing Fountain Pen
That were made from say 1905 up till the late 60s. buy the best pen were made 1923 to 1950 Before 1923 Conway Stewart did not Manufacture Pen them selfs.Conway Stewart they made lot of Pens to pick from. They made lot of Nibs from Shorthand to Italic Fro Fine to Broad Firm to flexible

And the 2nd Pen I would recommend is Waterman this must be the Largest Firm in the World they start in 1884 and today 114 year and the waterman are going strong
Pen was made in U.S.A. England, Canada, France, Italy, India, and Switzerland. Each pen has a imprint on the barrel were it was made 

Waterman had a larger range of Nibs.

The made in the Ripple Pen a group of Colors

Each color was for a different type of writing
Yellow. Blue, Green, Purple, Pink, Red, Brown, Grey, Black, and waterman Said they made white as of today no one was reported they have a white Keyhole Nib.
They made Account, Shorthand, Music, Nibs from Extra Extra Fine to double Broad
And nib for every one the price have been going up and I think over the next two or three 

Years the waterman pen will be a strong investment.

The type of pen made by waterman is so large one can not imagine

Eyedropper Filler. Lever Filler, Safety Pen also eyedropper Filler. Sleeve Filler, Pump Filler, Coin Filler, Yes they made a Capillary Filler Called X Pen. Glass Cartridge Filler and later plastic cartridge called C/F Pens.
