I found a vintage pen display case/board with the name "PenPal", that I'd
like to not just toss out. I'm not real sure of the vintage of the case but my
guess is it's from the 1950's.
It is NOT the best case for permanent storage of pens, but it does make a
nice pen holder for displaying pens for sale at shows and such. It could be
used as permanent pen storage with the addition of a piece of soft cloth or
felt, that would lay over the top of the pens when you fold up this tri-fold
case.
It is covered in a very durable brown fabric, with brown vinyl edging, and
has a clear vinyl pouch in which to put a small amount of papers. It holds 52
pens using thin spandex straps. It's about 14 inches long and about 12 inches
wide and is plenty sturdy to stand up on a table top to display pens.
I picked it up about 8 years ago at a flea market, and it appears to be
brand new. I've not used it. I'm asking $20 for it, including priority
shipping
in the US. If someone outside the US wants it, I'll ship it for the additional
cost of Air Parcel mail.
Best!
