Greetings and welcome to the list, Rafael.
I heard about the Parallel Pens, some time ago, and looked at them
on Paper & Ink Arts's website. It's an interesting design and I'm
anxious to hear your comments on them as time goes on. No talent or
skill, whatever, at that craft; I just like to draw lines! :-)
I feel for you on the detached retina. I have, as a fairly severe
myopic, had 3 torn retina episodes. Luckily, they were caught early
and were nicely laser "spot welded" by the retinologist with only
some floaters left behind. Fully detached, though, is a much bigger
problem.

Thanks for the welcome, Roger.
I'll report on the Parallel Pens more as I gain experience with them.
My retina problem unfortunately wasn't caught in time to repair it. It was
in 1995, so things may be better now. The doctor who performed microsurgery
was the best in Louisville at the time. I've learned to compensate
somewhat. I usta have a lot of collisions in the grocery store aisles. I
tapped one lady's cart with mine once and she got as upset as if it had been
her car.
Rafael
