PIC: Sheaffer/Lenox Desk Set: Pheasant.

Well, my Sheaffer Desk Set from ~1960 arrived today in mail. Turns out not a turkey on it but what i believe is a ring necked pheasant.
Long fond of Lenox China (bone white, glossy, golden trim usually not heavy handed), though owning just a college mug from that brand, i was tickled pink to grab this one.

Of course it gets weirder. So, i show the picture to an ER Doc who is a colleague down in our ER. Before pulling up picture, i cite the above paragraph as preamble. She pauses and says, "I love and collect Lenox". Hmmm...
Then i pull up the image. "Ohmigosh" she says, "My husband loves Pheasant motif. Wanna sell?". 

But no. I don't. This one is a keeper.
