Re: Noodler's inks

Hi Allen:
I've had a flow problem when using Noodler's Old Manhattan in a Stipula Novecento Rex. It's a brand new bottle. I'm a great fan of other Noodler's inks. My favorite is Iraqi Indigo and just plain ol' "Black". I've never had any flow problems with them, and I've used them in a variety of vintage and modern pens. As for Waterman, I think they're very good in flow as is Aurora. I alternate Iraqi Indigo with Aurora Blue as my standard daily all purpose ink and have never had problems with either of them.
Cheers,
Gerry

Speaking of Nathan and his inks, has anyone else experienced a flow problem
with Noodlers??

I had Noodler's Blue in a modern Duofold just after Christmas and had
constant drying out problems.

Then last week had 2007 Boston Brahmin Blue in a Green Platignum Regal and
then a Montegrappa Harmony and in both pens, the same problem.

Replaced the Noodler's with Waterman's Green in both pens and now, no
problems.

I don't recall problems with either of these Noodler's inks after I bought
them, last summer. Do the bottles just not last that long before the ink
creates problems?
