And, having read your bio, I know you like those fat, wet nibs. Which
makes a pen that ONLY takes small carts completely superfluous.
One reason I never considered getting an MB Boheme. Like a dinosaur
with a pea-brain... now extinct.
If you have big hands, keep me in mind if you ever want a big
Visconti Titanium Skeleton LE with WET, soft broad nib... holds
gallons of ink.
Just a little heavy for me posted.
I'm into celluloid these days. Like Omas, Wahl-Eversharp (have yet to
get one, though), and my Iride, which also holds a ton.
I enjoyed your bio Jim. I also have around 12 pens at any given time,
but only about five that I would NEVER part with Pelikan Concerto
(which I might part with without the nib, in exchange for a different
Pelikan LE, into which I would place that nib!), Delta Pompei, two
Parker Vacs, a Tibaldi Impero...
I really like my two Omas', but haven't had them long enough to form
an emotional attachment. However, they are light, pretty, write well
and hold lots of ink.

You know, Roger, I used to think that way as well. However, I now have about ten different converters to prove you wrong - all meant for pens that all take international cartridges, but don't all take the same converter. And I'm not talking about the length. I'm refering to the diameter of the end of the converter. The part that gets penetrated by the end of the feed, if you will. Eric

I was just commenting to Roger that this particular Expert II pen has a
sleeve in the barrel, meant to keep the cartridge from slopping around, that
prevents an international style converter from fitting. The twist knob sleeve is
too fat.
I tried 2 different international sized converters; no go.
I was hoping that the true Waterman converter would fit without binding;
maybe not? If I have to live with cartridges on this little beast, it's going
off to the board to be sold.
Cheers to all! Jim
