Four Sheaffer Balances 1930's. Really 3 potential whole pens and bit o' parts. I s'pose it's an opportunity for he who seeks parts or who is willing to invest some sweat equity in restoration, or who just wants restoration practice pens that are not Arnold and Avon.
The first pen in this bunch is nice. Cleaned n' restored it would retail more than the price of the lot. After that things drift downhill

1) [i]Relatively[/i] scarce 1935 gray/black "grey pearl" Balance opaque lever-filler, short slender model. My recollection of our last Sheaffer debate was that this color was catalogued only as vac-fill. Definitely the LF pens are more uncommon. This is the best of the bunch and has tolerable trim, especially for a white trimmed pen.
2) Roseglow Junior. Yes, Roseglow. No fatal flaws but heavvvvvvy trim wear as per pic. Capband about 2/3 brassed with best aspect showing in the pic.
3) Golden Pearl Balance 500 short slender model. NOTE- has wrong nib (junker Iridium nib), but donor to follow
4) Golden Pearl long slender Balance vac=fill with Jeweler's style capband. Has a nib that can donate to pen #4. This one not salvageable. Cap is wrong short cap on long pen and has a burn in it. Vac filler is shot and blind cap falls off. A donor pen
