Not too long ago, I bought a beautiful black Guilloche Omas Ogiva with high
tech trim and a fine nib. Unfortunately, I was a little ham-fisted and dropped
the pen, bending the nib into a nice beak-like shape.
I sent the pen to Greg Minuskin to repair and he did a marvelous job
straightening the nib. In the process, however, the rhodium plating was
removed so the 18K gold nib appears more yellow than silver. Greg also
re-ground the nib into a cursive italic, which shows some really terrific line
variation in the right hands. (Check out this photo:

those hands!
This pen is too nice to sit unused and unappreciated. I'm sure someone here
can make this nib live up to its potential.
I still have the box and all of the papers that came with the pen if the buyer
would like them.
I paid a good deal of money to have this nib repaired, and will obviously be on
the losing end of this transaction as there's no way I'll be able to recover
those costs. I'd be happy to walk away from this with $140.00, plus whatever
shipping costs I incur.
Thanks!
