Hi unix geaks,
I've a problem that VT100.local on a P81 behaves different from a remote
VT100.local of the same P81.
It results in=20
# csh
permission denied
#
message on the VT100.local on the P81.
The cause for that behaviour lies in that fact that the local
VT100.local runs with the (wrong) authorization
uid=3D0(root) gid=3D0(root) egid=3D1(other)
Typing a su command changes the authorization back to "normal".
# su
# id
uid=3D0(root) gid=3D1(other)
#
The remote VT100.local runs with the authorization
uid=3D0(root) gid=3D1(other)
How is that possible? What do I have to change?
Regards,
Andreas
