Hi list,
the setup in our plant is as follows. We're running 5 nodes with 5 AW51's and 9
WP's attached to it.
The AW's do have external tape drives, the WP's don't. In order to do a full
backup of a WP we connected one of the AW tape drives to the WP and boot the WP
from cdrom.
Questions:
Is it possible to fully backup a WP on a tape drive what is connected to an AW?
- without booting the WP from cdrom
How can i make the AW tape drive seeable from WP?
Will this backup process (through network) slow down the machine too much?
Regards
