here's my setup: dual headed system (unix v. 7.1.2, foxview)
here's what I want to do: have two alarm cads, one assigned to each
head (A and B) I want only priority 1, 2 and 3 alarms to go to the
alarm cad on head A, and only priority 4 alarms to go to head B
I think I know how to assign the cads to the separate heads by editing
the dmcfg.
and i may know how to filter alarms by priority by using a match file
(page 102-107 of B0193RV), but what i cannot figure out is how to make
the alarm cad load the match file when it starts up. the a fore
mentioned document speaks of calling the match file from a button, but
I don't want the operators to have to *do* anything for this to
happen.
is there a startup file I could run a display manager command in to do
that? thoughts?
