[foxboro] gcc and pkgadd

I don't know if you have the software CD that Winston Jenks from Cape
Software did a few years ago. He gave it away for free at the I/A users
group meeting (another great reason to attend). Anyway it has gzip, gcc
and a bunch of other goodies. Also the readme file on the CD tells you how
to do the pkgadd and even builds a spool directory on /opt like Duc just
mentioned so there are no problems with /var running out of space.

Winston used to give away the CD, I don't know if he still does, but heres
a link.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
David

PS
If you still can't get everything together to get xpdf compiled for a B,C,D
box we'll ask Jeremy to do it.
